Mr. Soria's Wiki

Synesthesia is a literary device in which one sense is used to describe another using similar terms. It is not to be concerned with the neurological phenomenon [1] that has certain people tasting colors or seeing sounds or even some feeling the personality of colors. In literature it is usually described as a simile to link two unlikely images. An example is "I smell trouble" or "actions speak louder than words" because it shows the attitude of the object by describing the tense atmosphere or that it is sometimes necessary to act on impulse instead of talking it out.
